It can be accessed from all 50 states, as well as from other countries around the world. As each of these places has laws that may differ from those of Connecticut, by accessing this Web site both you and The Do Write Campaign agree that the statutes and laws of the State of Connecticut, without regard to conflicts of laws principles thereof, will apply to all matters arising from or relating to use of this Web site. However, by submitting, you, on behalf of yourself and any Third Party Participants, grant The Do Write Campaign the perpetual, fully-paid, irrevocable, royalty-free, non-exclusive, sub-licenseable and transferable license to reproduce, distribute, display, prepare derivative works of, exhibit, transmit, broadcast, digitize, otherwise use, and permit others to use, exhibit and perform throughout the world the Submission through any and all media channels and in any manner, form, or format now or hereinafter created, including on the internet, and in all other media, telecast, broadcast, via mobile devices, as well as through any other media and format now known or hereinafter developed for any purpose, including, but not limited to, advertising or promotional services, all without further consent from or payment to you, Third Party Participants or any other third parties. DWC reserves the right to post the Submissions on its Website or any other Website but DWC has no obligation to post or publish your Submission and any such publication or postings will be in DWC’s sole discretion.

In addition, by submitting a Submission, you acknowledge that, by acceptance of a Submission, DWC does not waive any rights to use similar or related ideas that might be contained in a Submission which was previously known to DWC, or developed by their respective employees, or obtained from other sources, or rights to use similar or related ideas without any restriction whatsoever, or further obligation to you or any Third Party Participants. In the event of any dispute or potential dispute regarding the Submission or User, Third Party Participants, or any third party, the Submission may be removed in DWC’s sole discretion. DWC reserves the right to edit your submission for technical reasons, e.g. to shorten in length, crop it or convert it from color to black and white, in order to meet web site specifications. If after viewing your edited submitted writing or artwork you have concerns or wish to have it removed, please contact us.

The DWC Site features groups, discussions, user profiles, comment areas, blogs and similar areas where Users can share information about themselves and their opinions, as well as post questions (“Public Areas”). Certain areas of the Site contain information intended only for Users who create user names or join or register to use the Site (“Registered Users”) and DWC reserves the right to limit these areas to Registered Users.

If you use a Public Area or an area reserved for Registered Users (a “Registered User Area”), you agree that you are solely responsible for your own communications, the consequences of posting those communications and your reliance on communications found in the Public Areas or Registered User Areas. The Company is not responsible for the consequences of communications in the Public Areas or Registered User Areas. Although DWC may from time to time monitor the Content posted on the Site, DWC is under no obligation to do so.
